Idioms in Translation

Handmade envelope, author’s note, three envelopes for each zine, and zine #3 open to show code and output.
Raphael Halff, 2023
Three one-sheet zines, each in a standard envelope, all in a handmade envelope.

Idioms in Translation is, rather than an attempt to translate Yiddish idioms into English, an exploration of our concepts of comfort and discomfort, communication, and information processing. Each of the three zines is based on a Yiddish saying, however, and includes Python code and output that is likely to puzzle and provoke.

Edition of 36, numbered and signed by the author.
